Newark Genesis JBJ Soul Apartments

Newark Genesis Apartments is an innovative HELP USA project that will bring new affordable housing to the North Ward in Newark.  This project includes 51 units of permanent, rental housing and 2,500 square feet of community service space; it will be located on Mt. Pleasant Avenue in the City of Newark. The majority of the residential units will provide rental housing for low income families. It will also provide permanent housing for HIV/AIDS clients that are currently being served by Broadway House, a continuing care facility that is located in the North Ward. It will be constructed to adhere to universal design standards. In addition, Newark Genesis Apartments will participate in New Jersey's Green Future program.
